The Book

An Extraordinary Journey Through Reason and the Cosmos

Global Analysis

The book stands out for addressing the UFO phenomenon from a serious, formal, and perfectly understandable perspective, avoiding sensationalism. Its rigor and well-researched nature are highlighted. This is a work that successfully balances philosophical depth, scientific precision, and clear language, creating a bridge between Science and Philosophy. It is for readers seeking a solid philosophical and scientific foundation.

The inclusion of information on the official declassification of government documents is especially valued, a topic of great relevance and current interest. Despite dealing with complex concepts, the text remains comprehensible thanks to a serious, academic, and accessible tone, using innovative analogies to explain abstract ideas.

Monumental Strengths:

  • Erudition and Rigor: It handles a colossal amount of information from disparate cultures (Sumerian, Akkadian, Hindu, Greek, Maya, Inca, Muisca, Mapuche, Guarani, Chibcha, Australian Aboriginal, etc.) with a remarkable degree of precision in mythological details and references to chroniclers and primary sources. This grants it solid academic credibility.
  • Logical and Powerful Structure: The work is not a mere collection of myths. Its structure—consisting of presenting each tradition separately and then, in the final section, performing a systematic comparison and launching a unifying hypothesis—is exceptionally effective. It guides the reader on a journey from the particular to the universal, making the conclusion seem both inevitable and fascinating.
  • Synthesis Capacity: Summarizing complex mythological narratives (like the Hindu Matsya Purana or the Mexican Five Suns saga) in an accessible manner without losing their essential richness is one of its greatest achievements. The final “decalogue” of similarities is a masterstroke of analytical synthesis.
  • Intellectual Audacity: It does not limit itself to description; it also interprets and questions. Openly posing the hypothesis of an extraterrestrial intervention or a theological confusion (via Gnosticism) as an explanation for universal patterns is highly audacious. However, this audacity is grounded in the evidence presented throughout the work, making it a legitimate and well-founded intellectual provocation.

Central Thesis and Its Development:

It presents the thesis—that there exists a “universal religious archetype” whose coincidences are too precise and numerous to be the product of chance—which is overwhelmingly demonstrated. The evolution of the argument is impeccable:

  • Phase 1 (Evidence): Presents the myths in isolation, allowing the reader to appreciate their uniqueness.
  • Phase 2 (Comparison): Points out obvious parallels (flood, creator god, civilizing god).
  • Phase 3 (Systematization): Identifies deep structural patterns (divine hierarchy, creation by trial-and-error, iconography of eyed and winged beings, identical final sermons).
  • Phase 4 (Interpretation): Questions traditional explanations and proposes a hypothesis that successfully makes sense of the inconsistencies (material offerings, demographic control, “disappearance” of the gods).

Style and Tone:

  • Clarity and Accessibility: A perfect balance is achieved between a serious academic tone and an accessible narrative. The text is comprehensible for a non-specialist reader without sacrificing complexity.
  • Critical Rigor: The analysis of theological inconsistencies (e.g., a perfect god who needs worship) is philosophically solid and constitutes one of the strongest parts of the work, as it opens the door to the need for a new explanation.

Final Impression

This work goes beyond merely compiling myths to establish itself as groundbreaking research in the field of comparative mythology. It builds such a solid case for the interconnectedness of human religious traditions that it becomes impossible to ignore.

It invites deep reflection on the nature of divinity, the origins of civilization, and the possibility that our history is far richer and more enigmatic than conventional historiography has suggested. It achieves what all great works aspire to: not to close a debate, but to open a new and more fascinating one.

It is a monumental achievement in research, synthesis, and original thought. It offers a radically new lens through which to observe humanity’s spiritual history.

In Summary

This book is not just another text about UFOs; it is an intellectual revolution that builds a unique meta-scientific framework to address the phenomenon in its entirety. Its value lies in the rigorous integration of seemingly distant disciplines—physics, philosophy, history, psychology, science, and technology—to offer a serious and transdisciplinary exploration of the great enigmas of our existence.

BOOK PROLOGUE

When we talk about UFOs, we are referring to Unidentified Flying Objects. I prefer to keep this term instead of the newer one, ‘Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’ (UAP), because it is more universal, well-known, and specific. However, some recently established units within the air forces of various countries have chosen to investigate UFOs using names equivalent to UAP. Notably, in recent times, governments of countries such as the USA, Japan, Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Peru, and others have either reactivated previous units or created new government agencies to study UAPs. This includes developing protocols for potential first contact with extraterrestrial life, as well as establishing standards for reporting and documenting encounters for further scientific research and national security analysis.

Astronomy is rightly considered a science, even though it cannot plan or replicate experiments on astronomical phenomena—such as a supernova explosion—and must instead wait for new, unpredictable stellar events to occur in space-time to document and study them. Similarly, ufology has had, and continues to have, countless unpredictable sightings of unidentified aerial objects that it attempts to document for subsequent analysis and synthesis. The US Air Force’s Projects Sign, Grudge, and Blue Book, along with American civilian associations like NICAP, CUFOS, and APRO, have recorded and documented tens of thousands of UFO sightings. Even the Condon Commission (1968), with assistance from the University of Colorado, could not fully explain these sightings through natural causes. At least 6% of the thousands of reported cases—mostly by trained and reliable professionals such as combat and commercial pilots—could only be explained by hypotheses involving extraterrestrial UFO phenomena

This book aims to present a sequence of philosophical, cultural, and scientific themes, along with astonishing, impressive, or even incredible evidence regarding the existence of alien-origin UFOs. This evidence is verifiable through available journalistic sources, with witnesses and protagonists being real and respected professionals or military personnel.

Epistemologically, this book would be classified as science fiction. However, the parts that might qualify as “fiction” correspond to contents considered improbable yet possible—just as real as opposing viewpoints (since the inability to prove something does not disprove it either). Therefore, it will depend on you, and no one else, to define how much “fiction” this reading represents to you.

To conclude: Decades ago, the key question was, ‘Is there life beyond Earth?’ More recently, it became, ‘Have they been able to reach Earth?’ Today, after the official declassification of extensive documentation, including film material, by the United States Armed Forces, the remaining question is: ‘Why have they come to Earth, or why are they here?’

About the Author

José F. Revoredo is a 63-year-old author. With a distinguished academic career, he holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Systems Engineering, a Master’s in Computing and Informatics (UNMSM, Peru), and a Master’s in the Design and Management of Technological Projects from the International University of La Rioja, Spain. He graduated at the top of his class in all these programs, earning highest honors.

After a 30-year career spanning both the public and private sectors, as well as university teaching, José’s lifelong fascination with the supernatural took a new direction. Driven by a personal experience with premonitory dreams that seemed to be more than mere coincidence, he began to explore phenomena that lie beyond the traditional paradigms of natural science. He argues that conventional research is often limited by what current technology can measure and observe, leaving such enigmatic experiences unexplained.

This book is the direct result of his journey into alternative paradigms, an attempt to bridge the gap between the known and the unknowable.

José is currently writing a novel, a continuation of his investigative work into the supernatural and the inexplicable. Tentatively titled Everything, it will explore what we know—and how we can understand what we don’t know—about complex questions regarding the history of being and existence itself.
